Gundam Card Game Weekly Tournament

Our weekly tournaments are run as constructed events, best of 1, and we play a number of rounds until one undefeated player remains. This often means 3 or 4 rounds!
All pilots will receive TWO Gundam booster packs of their choice from any of our in-stock sets, with the latest main set always available to choose. Pilots will also receive the most recent Store Tournament participation promos whenever available, and our top four players receive a Winner card! Our Winner card pool may be a mix of the most recent winner card and older winner cards; players can choose in order starting with 1st place with Winner pack they would like to receive.
GD04 Phantom Aria Release Event
DATE: Friday, April 24th

FIRST ROUND: 7:35 PM
Pilots will receive 4 booster packs of GD04 Phantom Aria & the promo set Gundam Aerial Rebuild and Suletta Mercury to construct a 30 card deck. We will then run a 3-round tournament where participants will earn an extra pack of GD04 for each round they win!
Gundam Starter Deck Battle [ST01-ST06]

Go back to the basics at our Gundam Starter Deck Battle! This event is great for new players who are just starting out, and veteran players who want to re-experience the early days of the Gundam Card Game. Sign-ups will begin at the store at 6:30 PM the night of the event. To enter this event, we will check you in on the Bandai TCG+ software and then you will purchase the deck of your choice from ST01 through ST06. We will run a best-of-one, three round event. Participation and other prizing will be given out at the end of the final round!
Participation: Pilots who see this tournament through to the end will receive Starter Deck Store Promotional Pack x 1, which contains one of five alt-art EX Bases!
Best in Class: The top pilot for each deck will receive a special prize bundle with an assortment of store promos from various events, and a shiny Gundam Card Game sticker!
Gundam Card Game Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission 3

Test your skills at the Newtype Challenge! Participation for pilots in this event will include 2 GD-04 Phantom Aria booster packs and one ST05-015 Isaribi alt art promo. There will be an extra pack of GD04 added to our prize pool for each entry, which will be given to the top 8 players based on rank. Top 4 will receive the GD02-058 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II) alt art promo & our undefeated player receives GD03-050 Gundam Barbatos Lupus alt art promo!
Gundam Card Game WCS 26-27 Store Championships Season 1

The ultimate battle to determine the Champion: Recess Games is thrilled to host a 32-player Store Championship Season 1!
This event will be run as Best-of-One matches with a 30 minute round limit and a 5 minute cap on overtime. We will run a number of rounds until one undefeated player remains. In a full 32-player event, this is expected to be 5 rounds.
Prizing is standardized across all Store Championships and can be found here on Bandai's website. For Season 1 of Gundam Store Championships, prizing is the following:
- Participation: Event Pack x1
- Top 8: WCS26-27 Participation Pack Vol.1 ×1
- Top 4: WCS26-27 Participation Pack Vol.1 ×1, Event Pack x1
- Top 2: ST06-009 Amte Yuzuriha (Machu) Alt-Art Promo Card x1
- Champion: Regionals Season 1 Sleeve set (70 sleeves/pack) ×１
Top players also have a chance to receive an invite to the World Championship 25-26 Area Finals! The amount of invites awarded are based on actual player count in the event and is as follows:
1~23 participants: 1 Invite (1st Place)
24~32 participants: 2 Invites (1st & 2nd Place)
Pilots will need to apply to this event through the Bandai TCG+ app for the best chance at being able to participate in this event. While we will maintain a First Come First Served in-person waitlist on the night of the event, priority is given to players who are marked as Waitlist on the app, even if they arrive later than someone who did not apply to the event at all.
Players will need to submit a deck list through TCG+ to participate in this event. Failure to submit a decklist on time may result in being dropped from the event.
The deadline to submit a deck list, pay for your event entry & check in with staff is 7:00 PM May 15th. Please arrive with enough time to complete these steps. Deck lists can be created and submitted through TCG+ any time prior to the event, and can be changed if needed. If you need help with this, please arrive early enough that our staff can assist you. Payment will be accepted in person on the day of the event. If you have not checked in with staff, paid for your entry, and submitted your deck list by 7:00 PM the night of the event, you will be dropped from the event so that we can process our waitlisted players in a timely manner.
This is a Level 2 Competitive event and has a higher level of rules enforcement than other store events. You can review Official Rules on Bandai's website!
